a new solar system is forming

there happens to be another solar system forming about 129 lightyears away from planet earth. this solar system is wild because it is forming. in other words, the coliding planets are desturbing the other comets. when they colide, not only does it get bigger, but it also makes a lot of dust. this star is said to have 10 times the mass of jupiter and be bigger than the sun. this solar system also has a ring. to astromemers, ring around a cloud of dust is very odd. this solar system is said to cause more violence because of the three planets that it has. they will be coliding with other comets and the other planets. soon enough, it will create a solsr system that hopefully provides life. futher studies are continuing as we speak. this might be what we have been looking for

the . can

I did a lab called the collapsing can lab. It was pretty cool and i enjoyed it a lot. What we did was we boiled a can until steam started coming out. Then as soon as the can boiled, we took the tongs, grasped the can, and inverted it into the cold icy water. When the can was as hot as it was, and it was put in cold water, the can collapsed completely. How the can collapses is when the water is hot and the molecules are moving fast, they turn into steam. when the hot water meets the cold water, where the molecules are closer and more tight, the can collapses because when the fast moving molecules suddenly meet the slow moving molecules, they crush the can

popcorn lab

When the popcorn went into the microwave, it took a while to pop. But radiation was the one that heated the popcorn. The radiation from the microwave vibrates the molecules from the popcorn which in turn heats the kernels up to pop. Radiation is one of the ways that popcorn is made. Another way is by hot air. Hot air is transferred to the kernels and it will make them pop. This process is called convection.

could this be the moment that we been looking for?

there was a big crash happening in space. two planets collided.dust kept going through out space and sceintists discovered it. this planet is about 500 light years away from earth and it is bigger than the sun.this planet expirences weather just like ours. the temperature this planet expirences is just like ours. scientists are now studying more about the planet to see if it can support any type of life.we will never know if there is another life on this star.

The "vampire" like star! could this be 2012?

Is this star actually like a vampire? in 2000, this star exploded and sucked up a lot of the things around it. It also released a huge amount of matter into the universe.would it explode again? It will probably because of the studys that they did. The astrnomers form sifferent universitites ssaid that it will errupt soon because eof the amount of matter that its sucking in from its neighbors. On the live science website, astrnomers form the "vlt" (very large telescope) took pictures of this star and said that is brighter than the sun. So far, if the star keeps up its feeling capibility, it can reach huge limits and can be fatal to the solar system. The stars and planets in the universe are mostly filled with hydrogen. This star is very different because it is filled with helium. by estimation of measurments, this star is about 25,000 light years away from the sun.when will this star erupt again? Nobady knows but wat we do know is that it is a ticking time bomb that will probably wipe out its companion star and mabe, if its powerful enough, wipe out the milkyway. We need to keep an eye on this star at all times but mabe this could be the 2012 that everyone was talking about.
